Australia Post heritage photo project
This project entailed photographing the heritage listed Launceston Post Office building (Tasmania) prior to the commencement of alterations. The project required that I document the interior spaces of the Post Office building, which meant abiding by the conditions for recording heritage properties. The project involved regular consultation between the architects, Heritage Tasmania and the builders in order to carry out photography requirements. I produced a report (layout and text), photographs (in both print and digital RAW format), and contact sheets. The project was undertaken and delivered in a professional and efficient manner.

"Thomas Ryan was recommended to this Office by Heritage Tasmania to photograph the existing conditions of the Heritage listed Launceston Post Office which was a condition of the approval before alterations were carried out. Under the Approval Thomas had to abide by the conditions for "Photographic Recording of Heritage Places and Objects" which required a Report, Contact Sheets, and Photographs - Tiff & RAW files. Thomas successfully completed this task in an efficient and professional manner and we would have no hesitation to use him again or recommend him for his photographic work to prospective clients."
