Manning Base Hospital - Taree.

This Post War Hospital design in the township of Taree, New South Wales is a striking example of Modernist design. The complex has recently been extended which makes the visual impact of the main façade harder to photograph. This photograph was taken on the other side of the street on an angle, as a new building stands to the front of it now. I wanted to highlight the wonderful balconies that were on so many 20th Century hospitals and the port hole windows. On the other side of the building there are interesting square windows.
